How much does it cost?
Price depends on the vehicle and on how many windows you want done — a coupe, a sedan with a big curved rear glass and a three-row SUV are not the same job. Call or text us the year, make and model and you get a firm number on the spot, before you commit to anything.
How is ceramic different from the cheap tint?
Dyed film blocks light by being dark, and it fades — that is the purple tint you see on older cars. Metallised film blocks heat but can interfere with signal. Ceramic film uses non-metallic particles to reject heat and UV without either problem, and it holds its colour.
How long does it take?
Most vehicles are done the same day. Paint protection film takes longer and is quoted per vehicle and per coverage area. Give us the year, make and model for an accurate time.
Do I need an appointment?
It helps, and same-day slots are often available. Call ahead so the film for your vehicle is ready when you arrive instead of you waiting for it.
How soon can I roll the windows down?
Leave them up for the first two to three days while the film cures. You may see slight haze or small water pockets during that period — that is normal and clears as it dries.
Will it make it harder to see at night?
It depends on the shade. Darker film cuts more light, and that is felt most when reversing at night or in heavy rain. We walk you through what each level actually looks like from the driver's seat before anything is applied, so you choose with your eyes and not from a number.
Does tint do anything in winter?
Yes. UV does not take the winter off — it is what fades your dash and cracks leather year-round. Film also cuts glare from low winter sun, which sits right in your eyeline in the afternoon.
Can you tint over the rear defroster lines?
Yes. Rear glass is curved and has the defroster grid running through it, which is exactly why it is the most technical piece on the car. It goes on as one piece, over the lines, without damaging them.
My car already has dark factory glass. Do I still need film?
Usually yes. Factory privacy glass is tinted in the glass itself for looks — it blocks very little heat and UV. Film adds the performance that the dark glass only appears to have.
Can I bring a leased car?
Yes, and film is removable, so it can be taken off before you return the vehicle. Check your lease terms first — some are stricter than others.
Can you remove old tint?
Yes. Removal is quoted separately because old dyed film that has baked onto the glass takes real time to strip without damaging defroster lines.
How do I clean it?
Any ammonia-free glass cleaner and a soft microfibre cloth. Ammonia breaks film down over time — that is the one thing that will actually void the warranty.
What does the warranty cover?
Lifetime coverage against fading, bubbling, cracking and peeling of the film. It does not cover glass breakage or damage caused by cleaning the film with ammonia-based products.
